
The "War is Over", Except it Isn't & Never Will Be

Perry 2016 on Fri, 08/20/2010 - 06:00Politico reports that on August 18, 2020 President Obama said, “we are keeping the promise I made when I began my campaign for the presidency. By the end of this month we will have removed 100,000 troops from Iraq and our combat mission will [end].”
Except that 50,000 troops will remain in Iraq and 30,000 troops will be added to Afghanistan, bringing to nearly 100,000 the number of combat troops in Afghanistan.

Of the 17 candidates on the primary ballot for US Senate, only one candidate has the courage to say, “Reducing the size, scope and power of the federal government is the core solution to every issue we face as a nation. We must work within our present reality, but be guided by an unflinching commitment to the ideal of liberty.
