Response to the 2010 State of the Union Address

President Obama claims “that if we did not act” on “an economy rocked by severe recession, a financial system on the verge of collapse, and a government deeply in debt” that “we might face a second depression.” I'd like to remind the President that his actions, as well as Congressional actions and those of the Federal Reserve have not helped, but instead caused higher inflation ad more federal debt. In fact, the Federal government's deficit from 2009 was the largest in American history. And contrary to his opinion, “the worst” has not passed.

Recapping Obama's First Year

Just over 1 year ago, Barack Obama was sworn in as President of the United States of America & in just a few days he will deliver his first State of the Union Address. However, it will not be his first speech before a Joint Session of Congress. He delivered two non-State of the Union Addresses, his first February 24 & the second on September 9. I would venture a guess that most people do not remember the content of either speech, but do remember that Joe Wilson shouted, “YOU LIE!”

Endorsement of Joe Kennedy for US Senate

In less than a month voters in Massachusetts will go to the polls to elect a Senator to replace the late Edward "Teddy" Kennedy. There will be three candidates on the ballot, but only one man that, if elected, will stand up to the 99 other Senators in Washington, DC. He will stand up, not just for himself or the people of Massachusetts, but for everyone in the country.

Redacted Bill of Rights

December 15 marks the day that the first ten Amendments were added to the Constitution of the United States of America. However, since 1791, Congress along with the Judicial and Executive Branches have usurped a vast amount of power and left us with the following as a redacted "Bill of Rights".

REAL ID is a REAL Problem

Beginning January 1, 2010 many legal law biding citizens in the United States of America will be treated as foreigners if/when they travel via commercial airline, or wish to enter a Federal building. How is his happening and why? Quite simply, because they happen to reside in one of the 36 States that have either refused to implement the REALID or have not yet complied. Citizens of these States will no longer be allowed to pass the TSA check point using their State issued Driver's License but will instead be required to show a valid U.S. Passport, even for domestic air travel.
