Independence Day Message

Most Americans will celebrate “The Fourth of July” this weekend, however nearly one quarter of Americans failed to identify Great Britain as the country the US colonies fought to gain its independence. The poll by Marist College found 20 percent who were "unsure" and another six percent who thought the US fought a revolution, starting in 1776, against another country -- a list that included France, China, Japan, Mexico, and Spain.

The Black & White Choice in Colorado: Dan Kilo for Governor

This fall Coloradans will have a choice between; more government, more taxes & more prisoners OR less government, lower taxes & fewer non-violent inmates. No, I'm not talking about a choice between Republicratic gubernatorial candidate “A” and Republicratic gubernatorial candidate “B.” There is such minuscule difference between the Republicans & Democrats that the two halves of this political duopoly should (officially) merge – as they already have in a de facto manner – into the Republicratic Party.

BTP Convention Thoughts

The 2010 Boston Tea Party National Convention wrapped up just over one week ago. I'm pleased with the program and resolutions passed by the members of the party. It's always good to know there is a party that still stands on principles of small (or no) government, non-intervention, non-aggression, honest money and personal responsibility.

Party members adopted a program to:
1. End Wars of Aggression
2. Abolish the Federal Reserve
3. End the War on Drugs
4. End the Abuses of Liberty, and
5. End the Immigration Fiasco.
